Investment Strategy
For
all of Baring Vostok's funds, the principal investment focus
is on controlling stakes in medium-sized enterprises with
$30 million to $500 million in annual sales turnover. In
certain cases, Baring Vostok will invest through a
significant minority stake or invest in companies with less
than $10 million in existing sales turnover if the potential
upside is sufficiently material for the funds.
Baring Vostok
has a primary industry focus on oil and energy, branded
consumer products, telecommunications, media, services, and
technology. Baring Vostok has invested in a broad range of
companies within these industries including formerly
state-owned privatized companies, new entrepreneurial
ventures and co-investments with major international or
local strategic partners. |
